Trivia: Lehi city, in Utah, in which XanGo LLc is based, took name after Lehi who was a prophet in the Book of Mormon. Lehi city population is about 35 thousand people.

The product of this company is famous multi-fruit drink, a beverage called XanGo Juice , that is believed to be very healthy and kind of health drug, promoted as a dietary supplement. It is also quite expensive, as its price is up to about 36-37$ for one bottle! The xango mangosteen juice has proprietary formula and contains several friut juices, plus mangosteen juice, plus xanthones from mangosteen. It was patented, but then United States Patent and Trademark Office revoked patent.

In 2003 sales of XanGo were $40 million, year later $150 million
In 2006 sales were more than $300 million.
In 2009 comapny expects (or, have a goal of) $1 billion in sales.
Company has more than 600 employees and half million (!) independent distributors. XanGo sponsors: Real Salt Lake, soccer team and arts council of Orem for operating the "XanGo Grand Theater". Company claims that it givs 5 to 7 percent of net profit to charity. It cannot be chcked, as it is a private company, and does not publish financial statements.

Gary Hollister, Chairman, and Aaron Garrity, CEO of XanGo, LLC were named finalists in the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award 2006 in the Emerging Category.
