What is xango mangosteen juice?

XanGo juice is a fruit juice, with some addition of mangosteen. I repeat: it is typical fruit jiuce, with some (not known) amount of mangosteen added. Therefore it is not a mangosteen jiuce. Xango juice is made from the whole mangosteen fruit, with skin, seed and flesh. This migh be better than eating only flesh - it might have more mangostin (a xanthone - more about it later).

XanGo ingredients: Mangosteen puree, juices from: apple, pear, grape, blueberry, raspberry, strawberry, cranberry, cherry, pear purée, citric acid, flavor, pectin, xanthan gum, sodium benzoate. 13 calories, no fat, 3.2g carbohydrate (2.7g sugars), no proteins.

Mangosteen

What is it? It is a fruit that grows on small evergreen trees in Southeast Asian countries, like Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Sri Lanka and India (south part). It is being tried to grow it in Hawai and Carraibean, but with not much luck. This plant must be grown in the very climate that is in southeast Asia. The tree is about 7-25 meter tall.

Do not confuse mangosteen with mango! The latin name is Garcinia mangostana (order: Malpighiales, family: Clusiaceae, Genus: Garcinia). There are also similar fruits: button mangosteen and lemondrop mangosteen. In June mangosteen is in season. It is harvested twice a year.

Interesting thing about the tree, is that there are male and female trees. But noone saw male one. It possible that only female ones exists. Really.

The fruit

The fruit is very violet in color, and has thick skin and white delicate flesh inside. Has diameter of about 2-3 inches. It tastes like pineaple and peach and vanilla. It tastes great, thus being calles quenn of Fruits. The thick rind is not as good, and usually not eaten, but it is used to make juices like xango.

It contains vitamins - B1 and B2, and potassium nad iron.

The mangosteen fruit is among so called "Superfruits" like: acai, blueberry, cranberry, strawberry, raspeberries, blackberries, goji, grape, guarana, mangosteen, noni, pomegranate, sea-buckthorn.

The xanthones

Xanthones are healthy natural antioxidants - stronger than vitamins C and E. In mangosteen there are alpha- and gamma-xanthones. In skin there are 40 of them, 6 of which have anti-cancer functions.

Much of xanthones in mangosteen is in tis rind. If you are interested in exact names of those xanthones, here you are: 1,3, 6,7 tetrahydroxyxanthone, 2,4, 5 methoxyxanthone - tryhydroxy - 1 xanthones, 1,2, 3,4, 5,8 - xanthon tetraoxygenated, Methylbut 3 - 2 - xanthon enyl, Garcinone, B, C, D, E, Gartanin, Deoxygartanin 8, 5,9 - dihydroxy - 2,2 - dwumetylowy - metoksy 8 - 7, Calabaxanthone, Demethylcalaba - xanthon, Isomangostin 1, Isomangostin 3, Isomangostin 1 hydro, BR - xanthon - A, 2,3, 4,6 - pentahydroxybenzophenone ( malacurin), Mangostin alfy, Mangostin beta, Mangostin gammy, Mangostanol, Garcimangosone, A, B, C, Mangostenone xanthony A. The other fruit, sold in MLMs, that has much antioxidants, is Noni. There are also other beverages that contain mangosteen juice.

Scientifically speaking, xanthones are plant polyphenols biosynthetically like flavonoids. Chemically they are six carbon molecules in a shape of ring.

Hi sisterHere are some ideas to help you ovrmcoee your condition. CauseFood allergies (there is a 100 percent correlation between lupus and food allergies), rheumatoid arthritis, other connective tissue diseases, parasites, candidiasis, bowel problems, and digestive enzyme deficiencies can create symptoms that mimic or exacerbate SLE. Migraines, epilepsy, and psychoses must also be ruled out before a proper course of treatment can be decided upon. Both forms of lupus primarily strike young women (90% of cases) and young children. The drugs hydralazine, procainamide, and beta blockers can cause false-positive readings of SLE, and can also produce a lupus-like condition that disappears when the drugs are no longer taken. Birth control pills and environmental stresses can also exacerbate lupus symptoms.                           Natural CuresDiet: Eat an organic, whole foods diet. Also avoid overeating and limit your intake of dairy, beef products, and polyunsaturated oils. Also screen for food allergies and avoid all foods to which you are allergic or sensitive. Increase your intake of vegetables, especially green, yellow, and orange, and consume non-farm-raised fish several times a week.Herbs: Supplementation with Swedish bitters with each meal can increase hydrochloric acid production. Also drink an infusion of nettle twice a day. Other useful herbs include echinacea, goldenseal, licorice, pau d`arco, and red clover Hydrotherapy: Hydrotherapy is the application of water, ice, steam and hot and cold temperatures to maintain and restore health. Treatments include full body immersion, steam baths, saunas, sitz baths, colonic irrigation and the application of hot and/or cold compresses. Hydrotherapy is effective for treating a wide range of conditions and can easily be used in the home as part of a self-care program. Many Naturopathic Physicians, Physical Therapists and Day Spas use Hydrotherapy as part of treatment. I suggest several at-home hydrotherapy treatments..Hyperthermia: Hyperthermia involves artificially creating fever in the body for the purpose of boosting immune function. Hyperthermia can be a highly effective method of eliminating toxins and heavy metals, as well as infectious bacteria and viruses that cannot survive in elevated body temperatures. I suggest several at-home hyperthermia treatments.*Purified water is essential for any hydrotherapy or hyperthermia treatment. Remedies for Treating Chlorinated Bath Water offers clear instructions and recommendations.Juice Therapy: Drink the juice of carrot, celery, flaxseed oil, black currant oil, and garlic.Nutritional Supplementation: Hydrochloric acid (HCL) deficiency is common in people with lupus, therefore HCL supplements with each meal is advised. Other useful nutrients include vitamin A with beta carotene, vitamin C and bioflavonoids, vitamin B complex, vitamin B5, vitamin B6, vitamin B12, calcium, magnesium, selenium, zinc, essential fatty acids, proteolytic enzymes taken away from meals, digestive enzymes taken with meals, and the amino acids L-cysteine, L-methionine, and L-cystine.Topical Treatment: PABA cream applied topically can help ease symptoms.Alternative Professional CareIf your symptoms persist despite the above measures, seek the help of a qualified health professional. The following professional care therapies have all been shown to be useful for treating Lupus: Acupuncture, Biofeedback Training, Bodywork, Cell Therapy, Chelation Therapy, Detoxification Therapy, Environmental Medicine, Enzyme Therapy, Guided Imagery, Homeopathy, Juice Therapy, Light Therapy, Magnetic Field Therapy, Natural Hormone Replacement Therapy, Naturopathic Medicine, Oxygen Therapy, Qigong, Rolfing, and Traditional Chinese MedicineBest of health to youCheers
